#OnceWhatWas #IsNoLonger
This is right by Ford Field. I remember it looking much different back in the 80s.
Sometimes I have to stop and say, hey man that was 30 years ago…Not many things in this world that DONT change after 30 years. It puzzeles my brain sometimes…30 years… I lived in CA for the last 25 years, I was 23 years old and moving to Caly…. And there goes the #AmericanRevolution of the #MachineAge. I know not many of us remmeber but in the 50s and 60s and even 70s I think, #Detroit was a happening place and NOT what now looks like a #GhostTown
and looks like its never going to recover. Wonder what it will look like in 15 years… #Repost @natgeo

Photograph by George Steinmetz @geosteinmetz / @anastasiaphoto1 The Brush Park area of Detroit has only a few mansions remaining amidst the vacant lots. It was once one of the most desirable neighborhoods in #Detroit, but the severity of urban decay here is hard to reverse. For another aerial view of The Motor City go to @geosteinmetz #unpublished #Motown
