By Jason Christley, NASCAR
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Once David Into got rolling on the race track, he was nearly unstoppable. The Hardeeville, South Carolina, driver didn’t start racing a dirt Late Model until he was 45. And then he rattled off 10 NASCAR track championships in a 12 year stretch that included the 1984 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national championship.
Into passed away at his home Monday at the age of 75.
