The Italian Lowers The Track Record, Renauer On Pole In ELITE 2

At the end of a nail-biting Superpole it was Nicolò Rocca (54 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) who scored the first pole position of the 2015 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season – and the first of his NASCAR career – posting a record lap in 01:40,653 and edging hometown hero Borja Garcia (#1 Active Racing Competition Ford Mustang) by a mere 65 thousands of a second. He also led the Junior “Jerome Sarran” Trophy classification.
