"a racing life / you wouldn't understand"; is MY LIFE as a NASCAR Spotter, a father, Internet Marketing & Google Plus SME, where my life long passion for auto racing has lead me to working as a Spotter in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR K&N Pro Series.

The web hosting company announced Wednesday that at the end of NASCAR’s 2015 season, it would be dropping its racing sponsorships. This is a big change, especially when you consider the fact that GoDaddy has been affiliated with Patrick since 2007 and served as her primary sponsor since 2010.
But this might not be the end of Patrick’s relationship with the online domain registrar! GoDaddy is not renewing its primary sponsorship of the 33-year-old athlete’s team, but per their press release, “the company is negotiating to keep Patrick as a GoDaddy spokeswoman under a personal services agreement.”
The internet domain giant has decided to pull its NASCAR sponsorship of Patrick’s No. 10 Chevrolet, which is fielded by Stewart-Haas Racing.
The 33-year-old Patrick is in the final year of her contract at SHR and landing a primary sponsor could be key to her stock car future.
“I’m sad. I’m a little surprised and I’m sad,” Patrick told The Associated Press on Wednesday. “But to say I didn’t imagine this was not a scenario would be a lie. It’s bittersweet. It’s going to be really weird to think I won’t drive the bright green, can’t-miss-it car next year.”
Phil Bienert, the chief marketing officer at GoDaddy, told the AP it was strictly a business decision as data showed the company “we are past brand marketing in the U.S.”
He added that GoDaddy is working on a personal services contract with Patrick, who is considered one of the most of recognizable drivers in the world.
“Danica transcends racing and is a real source of inspiration,” he said. “We are working now to see what our relationship looks like going forward.”
Bienert also said Patrick’s “record-setting season makes it tough to leave this motorsports sponsorship, without a doubt.”
Patrick has two top-10 finishes this season and ranks 16th in points.
She has had GoDaddy as an associate sponsor since 2007. The company has been her main backer since the 2010 IndyCar season when she was with Andretti Autosport.
“GoDaddy has been an incredible partner for a very long time and our brands have really grown up together,” Patrick said. “At the same time, this is a new opportunity for a brand to pair with me and Stewart-Haas Racing and achieve the kind of growth we experienced with GoDaddy.”
Brett Frood, Stewart-Haas Racing’s executive vice president, said Patrick has “unparalleled resolve and tenacity.
“She is an individual who transcends the sport and we look forward to fostering new partnerships for her and the No. 10 team,” he added.
It’s been a long ride for GoDaddy and Danica Patrick, but all good things must come to an end.

What would happen if cars would start taking drugs? Some would turn worse and some, like this ‘Vette you see here, would go absolutely insane. There is no other way to describe it but to tell you that this thing is on some kind of drugs. It’s not that Lance Armstrong type of drug, but one Chevy developed in a top secret meth laboratory and gave it to the car. Look at it. It’s fabulous. It’s something you’d expect from a child to draw on paper and tell to its daddy “I want this, please give it to me if you love me”. And just because of all that lunacy, childish appearance and berserk styling this ‘Vette is possibly the maddest ever.
Dubbed the Z06 C7.R Edition, this mad Z06 is the closest race-car-but-still-allowed-on-the-streets thing that Chevy ever produced. Based on the already biblically fast Corvette Z06, the C7.R Edition received just enough race spec elements which every real gearhead would enjoy having on his car. Starting from the outside, this badass received a full on carbon fiber decoration complement called by Chevrolet “visible carbon fiber ground effects package and new visible carbon fiber hood section”. They should really call it “a blast” or something more catchy than “section”. I mean a roof on a house is a section in some way. Not so imaginative, is it!?
The rest of the car is luckily imaginative enough to steer your mind away from cars such as the Ferrari 488 GTB or the McLaren 650S. Yellow paint on the outside beautifully decorated with real carbon fiber elements definitely makes this track ready monster even more appealing, but the real deal here isn’t the looks, but the stuff hidden beneath the flashy exterior.
Buying this Z06 will get you a Z07 Performance Package as well. With it, the Corvette is equipped with goodies such as Brembo carbon ceramic-matrix brake rotors (with less weight than before), adjustable front and rear aero components and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires for enhanced grip. These kind of things are something only full on racing drivers will use to its full potential, but that shouldn’t stop you from wanting this one, ‘because you’ll probably never get it. 500 units of the Corvette Z06 C7.R will be produced in both Coupe and Convertible versions. It is hard to tell, but Chevy might already have sold them all. It wouldn’t be a surprise for a number of reasons. First of all, look at the stickers on it. You have it on the bonnet, on the roof (except of course on the convertible) and in the inside, while the plaque says that the Chevy has 7 LeMans GT Class Wins and 10 manufacturers titles. Who wouldn’t like to have a car that pays a homage to all of that success?
Besides that, there are few other things worth mentioning. The engine inside is the same like in the Z06 and that is the best thing ever. This thing is more than 150 HP more powerful than the real deal – the C7.R race car whose 5.5 liter engine churns out 491 HP. How cool is that!?
You have a track ready road car that has more power than the not-road-ready race car! Of course, Chevy did not fiddle with the engine at all, but thanks to these new tires that shouldn’t worry you much cause this beast achieves 60 mph in 2,9 seconds. That is some seriousness right there.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West heads to Arizona’s Tucson Speedway Saturday for the third race of the 2015 season, the NAPA Auto Parts WildCat 150. Tucson Race Setup:
• This will be the first time the K&N Pro Series West has competed at Tucson since March 10, 2001.
The Camaro is no stranger to pacing the track, the car has already done the task seven time (1967, 1969/Camaro SS, 1982/Z28, 1993/Z28, 2009/Camaro SS, 2010/Camaro SS, 2011 and 2014/Camaro Z28) so it’s only fitting that they showcase the all-new 6th Generation Camaro at Indy again.
But what is she going to look like…
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West will return to Arizona’s Tucson Speedway for the first time since March 10, 2001 this Saturday for the NAPA Auto Parts WildCat 150.
Despite being away from Tucson for 14 years, experience at the .375-mile asphalt oval may be a factor in Saturday’s event.
Only one driver on the current entry list has competed in a K&N Pro West event at Tucson: 2001 race winner, Johnny Borneman. The 37-year-old Ramona, California, native passed Tony Schmidt on the final lap to win the event.
