NTS Motorsports Drivers Lead Pack in PittLite 125

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Many young drivers have struggled to decipher the “World’s Fastest Half Mile,” while others seem to immediately take to the high-banked turns and tight straightaways.
Put Daniel Hemric and his NTS Motorsports teammate Brandon Jones in the second group.
Hemric, driving the No. 20 California Clean Power Chevrolet, led Thursday’s final NASCAR K&N Pro Series East practice for Saturday’s PittLite 125 with a fast lap of 15.924 seconds at 120.497 mph, barely edging Jones’ No. 33 MasterForce Tool Storage Chevrolet at 15.934 (120.422).
