Rookie Takes Top Spot For Canadian Tire Opener At CTMP

BOWMANVILLE, Ont., Canada — Gary Klutt got his rookie of the year campaign off to a fast start.
The 22-year-old from Halton Hills, Ontario, earned the pole Saturday for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 season opener at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Klutt, who has six career starts, earned the top spot for Sunday’s Pinty’s presents the Clarington 200 with a lap of 1 minute, 23.261 seconds in his No. 59 CTL Corp./Legendary Motorcar Chevrolet around the 2.459-mile, 10-turn asphalt road course.
