Second Consecutive Pole For The Italian, Maiden One For The Austrian

Nicolò Rocca (#56 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) waited until the final moments of the final segment of qualifying at Raceway Venray to complete his run and score his second consecutive pole of the season. The Italian lapped the .547-mile long banked oval in 19.843 seconds, at an average speed of 159.65 kilometers per hour to edge reigning-champion Anthony Kumpen (#24 PK Carsport Chevrolet SS) by just over one tenth of a second.
