Wins 12th Career Coors Light Award In K&N Pro West

ANDERSON, Calif. — David Mayhew set the tone early.
The second car out in NASCAR K&N Pro Series West qualifying Saturday at Shasta Speedway, Mayhew earned his 12th Coors Light Pole Award and first of the season.
The Atascadero, California, driver posted a lap of 15.873 seconds (75.524 mph) in his No. 17 MMI Racing/Ron’s Rear Ends/Pour House Chevrolet around the .375-mile track to take the top spot for Saturday night’s Bill Schmitt Memorial 150 presented by Lithia Toyota and NAPA Auto Parts.
