Puts Up Top Time In K&N Pro West Return To Shasta
ANDERSON, Calif. — David Mayhew waited until nearly the end to put up the number to beat.
The Atascadero, California, driver posted a lap of 15.969 seconds (75.070 mph) around the .375-mile Shasta Raceway in the final practice Saturday for the evening’s Bill Schmitt Memorial 150 presented by Lithia Toyota and NAPA Auto Parts.
Mayhew’s lap in his No. 17 MMI Racing/Ron’s Rear Ends/Pour House Chevrolet came in the 18th of 19 laps he ran in the final 30-minute session.
