DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Julia Landauer may be new to the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, but she’s no stranger to the racing scene. She began racing at a young age when her parents got her and her siblings into go-karts as a form of family bonding.
“It was something we could all do together,” the 23-year-old from New York City said. “We liked that girls could compete with the boys. I have always loved mechanics, so I fell in love with racing right away.”
After discovering her passion for the sport, she wasted no time jumping into the racing scene.
