DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Spring is the season for things to begin anew. This past weekend, two longstanding short tracks experienced their own renewal.
Massachusetts oval Seekonk Speedway returned to the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly program for 2015 after a decade as an independent. The popular .333-mile oval bordering Providence, Rhode Island, first opened for auto racing in May 1946 and is celebrating its 70th season of competition this year.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Five of the six NASCAR K&N Pro Series race winners in 2015 are 21 years old or younger. The championship points leaders in both the East and West are 17 and 16 respectively. And a 17-year-old just became the highest-finishing female in the 61-year history of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West.

TUCSON, Ariz. – Anxious anticipation characterized the return of NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series West to Tucson Speedway after a 14-year absence – among competitors, officials, and the fans packed into the grandstands.
Noah Gragson made sure the race exceeded everyone’s expectations, grabbing his first series win after a fierce door-to-door battle with teammate Gracin Raz in a green-white-checkered finish in the NAPA Auto Parts Wildcat 150.

TUCSON, Ariz. – Ron Norman won the 2014 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Arizona State championship last year in a Late Model at Tucson Speedway, and he put that experience to good use in his first NASCAR K&N Pro Series West start at his home track.
Norman earned his first career Coors Light Pole Award for the NAPA Auto Parts Wildcat 150, leading the field with a fast lap time of 15.794 seconds (85.475 mph) to grab the top spot and edge second-place Brandon McReynolds who finished his lap at 15.979/84.486.
