DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – An afternoon storm cancelled NASCAR K&N Pro Series East qualifying at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway.


With just eight cars remaining, the rain came and NASCAR officials to cancelled qualifying for Thursday night’s UNOH 100 after the National Weather Services issued a thunderstorm warning.


Scott Heckert, currently runner-up in the championship standings, and his No. 34 Project Lifesaver Chevrolet was on track to earn his third Coors Light Pole Award of the season with a time of 22.221 seconds.
