Strong Performance By The Israeli Opens The Semi Finals

The 2015 NASCAR Whelen Euro Series Playoffs started in Magione with Alon Day (#54 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) setting the fastest time overall in the two ELITE 1 Division free-practice sessions of the day. The driver from Israel led both sessions in the first day of the SemiFinals, clocking his best time during Final Practice in 1’13.716. Day was the only driver able to lap under the wall of 1’14’’ and he was followed by his teammates, in a dominating CAAL Racing 1-2-3.
